OpenSpan Technology Overview |
| | The OpenSpan Platform utilizes a unique technology approach that is very complementary to existing integration, BPM and SOA solutions; effectively extending these platforms to users’ desktop environments. By dynamically hooking into applications at run-time, OpenSpan can create integration points with virtually any application without requiring modification or access to the application’s source code, APIs or connectors. This approach enables OpenSpan to dramatically simplify and expedite the integration process between virtually any type of application, including: - Windows, host, Java, DOS and PowerBuilder applications
- Web applications including Web 2.0 dynamic content
- Third-party and Software-as-a-Service applications
- Web services
- Virtualized or Citrix-streamed applications
- Desktop, client/server or server-based applications
- Packaged or custom-built applications
- Applications where you don't have applicable programming skills or access to source code
Additionally, once integration points are created into these applications, you can rapidly build automations within or across applications using the OpenSpan Studio’s visual drag-and-drop design environment. You can also expose any integration or automation as a web service; deployable in either a desktop or scalable server environment.
