OpenSpan Achieves Oracle Validated Integration with Oracle's Siebel CRM
for Siebel CRM Release 8.1.1 to Improve and Simplify Manual Tasks
ATLANTA - September 19, 2010 - OpenSpan, Inc., a leader in user process improvement software, today announced that OpenSpan 4.5 has achieved Oracle Validated Integration with Oracle's Siebel Customer Relationship Management (Siebel CRM) Release 8.1.1 through the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) program.
OpenSpan today shares over 40,000 desktops with Siebel CRM. Together they help businesses leverage the "best fit" applications for maximum productivity while providing the flexibility to mix and match both new and existing applications.
Together with Siebel CRM, OpenSpan's User Process Management software is used to monitor what end-users are doing within and across the applications they access every day, analyze the use of those applications to identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and then improve those manual tasks that can cost organizations time and money when not addressed.
"As a member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) program, OpenSpan is pleased to provide customers with the confidence that the integration of our products with Siebel CRM 8.1 has been tested as technically and functionally sound," said Eric Musser, CEO of OpenSpan. "Validated integrations reduce risk, simplify upgrades, and lower the ownership costs for joint Oracle customers."
"We are very pleased that OpenSpan has achieved Oracle Validated Integration with Siebel CRM," said George Jacob, group vice president, CRM Applications, Oracle. "OpenSpan has been successful in helping automate and improve the efficiency of critical business processes with a number of key Oracle customers."
