New OpenSpan Plug-In for Visual Studio is now available via Developer Community, Launched at Microsoft Tech-Ed

Developers Can Download Free IDE Now

ATLANTA - June 7, 2010 - OpenSpan, Inc., a leader in user process management software, today announced at the Microsoft Tech-Ed 2010 conference that it is now offering a free download of the OpenSpan Plug-In for Visual Studio. Built on an embedded version of the Microsoft Visual Studio Framework, the OpenSpan Plug-In for Visual Studio provides a unique capability for developers — the ability to "open up" any application, monitor how users are interacting with the application, and based on identified events, either automate existing functionality or add new capabilities (or restrictions) to the user's environment at runtime.

The OpenSpan Plug-in is available to download for use with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and makes OpenSpan functionality available for the first time via a .NET API, meaning that developers can now access all of OpenSpan's runtime capabilities directly from code and mix and match .NET and OpenSpan projects in a single executable.

Run-time licenses across multiple desktops via OpenSpan Enterprise are available through subscription pricing.
